Empowering Chain Innovation

Ignite hosts a growing collection of specialized Apps that expand the capabilities of the Ignite CLI. Currently offering over 14 such add-ons, Ignite is inviting the community to push these tools even further.

Introducing the Ignite App Challenge Bounty—a call to builders eager to create innovative Apps that enhance the CLI’s functionality. The first three submissions that meet the Challenge's criteria can each earn up to $2,000.

Now is the time to innovate and help shape the future of chain development.

Visit the Bounty Challenge repository for details.

Criteria

Your Ignite App must be:

  • Fully functional and rigorously tested
  • Original and technically robust
  • Accompanied by clear documentation

The Challenge calls for Apps that act as key utilities, provide tangible business value, and serve as important complementary software, whether by accelerating chain creation, improving testing and bug detection, or enhancing key management and data handling. Once your application meets the criteria, please submit it as soon as possible to ensure your application is considered in the review process.

Submission Process:

  1. Fork the Ignite Apps repository.
  2. Develop your Ignite App in line with the Bounty criteria.
  3. Include thorough tests and detailed documentation.
  4. Submit a pull request with your complete implementation.

A full breakdown of requirements is available in the README of the Bounty Challenge repository.

Submissions will be evaluated on technical excellence, functionality, and overall impact. Only original ideas meeting every requirement will be considered.

For a list of candidate Apps already eligible for the Bounty, check out the Ignite App Eligible for Bounty document.

For any questions or clarifications, please open an issue in the repository with the label "bounty-question".

Let's ignite the next wave of chain development.
